Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child performer soon after her move to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances on AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). Also, she was an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot series New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was two years old, she and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial difficulties, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She earned the GED and then was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
